Annapolis Valley & Bay of Fundy Tour from Halifax

Tides, Vineyards, and the Beauty of Nova Scotia’s Valley

The Annapolis Valley is one of Nova Scotia’s most scenic and historic regions. Stretching along the shores of the Bay of Fundy, the valley is known for its fertile farmland, vineyards, charming towns, and the dramatic tides that make the Bay of Fundy famous around the world.

This private tour from Halifax explores the natural beauty and rich history of the region while offering a relaxed journey through vineyards, coastal landscapes, and historic communities.

It is a wonderful experience for visitors who want to see a different side of Nova Scotia beyond the coastline.

What the Day Feels Like

Your tour begins with pickup in Halifax or Dartmouth before travelling into the Annapolis Valley, one of Nova Scotia’s most fertile and historic landscapes.  Travel is just over one hour.

As we journey through the valley you will see rolling farmland, orchards, vineyards, and beautiful views toward the Bay of Fundy. The region is known for its unique climate, which helps produce some of Canada’s most distinctive cool climate wines.

The peaceful landscape and sweeping views toward the Minas Basin make it one of the most meaningful historic locations in the province. You will see how the tides cycle from a low to a high of over 50ft as we tour throughout the day.

Depending on your interests, the day may include visits to local wineries, cidery, distillery, brewery, or scenic stops along the coastline of the Bay of Fundy.

Because this is a private tour, the pace is relaxed and flexible, allowing the day to unfold naturally based on your group’s interests.
